After I packed up the campsite at Mt Rainier, I made my way into Downtown Seattle for the big 4th of July weekend!! The 4th of July is my favorite holiday and I was so excited to get into Seattle and spend the day exploring. The plan was to check into my hotel and then head down to the waterfront and take in as much as I could for the day.
Check back tomorrow for Part 2 of my Seattle Adventure as I try to find a good spot to watch the 4th of July Fireworks!
Things I Love to do in Seattle…
Waterfront/Pier / Old Ballard area for awesome pubs/bars (The Walrus & the Carpenter, Olympic Rooftop, Ballard Annex, The Matador) / Take a ferry around the harbor / Eat at Elliots on the water and watch the boats / Cupcake Royal (for ice-cream) / Discovery Park / Pikes Market / Lake Union / Alki Beach / Gas Works Park / Tour of Boeing
Places to Stay… My fav is the Westin Seattle

Currently at work so I can’t watch the vlog right now but I’ll definitely add the ‘things I love to do in Seattle’ to my list of things to try and see. I’m flying to Washington on Monday and I’ll have a few hours to explore Seattle 🙂

Right on! Yeah I love the waterfront even though it is kinda touristy. It has great views of the city. Old Ballard area is very cool as well. About a 15$ uber
